Our standard course is structured in three levels. Before the beginning of the course you will have to take a test which will enable us to check your knowledge of Spanish and determine your level and the group you will have to join to attend the lessons. According to your progress and the duration of your stay, you will be able to increase your level as you achieve the designed objectives for each one. The lessons are held in the mornings from Monday to Friday. The maximum number of students per class is 8 so that the learning environment is the most productive and pleasant possible.
The three levels offered are as follows:
Beginner Course
This course is for students with no previous knowledge of the Spanish language. During this course the basic grammatical structures will be introduced, as well as the essential vocabulary which will enable the students to use the language in basic communicative situations.
Intermediate Course
This course is for students who already possess some basic knowledge of the language. The aim of the course is to improve the level of oral and written comprehension, acquisition of new grammatical fundamentals and to improve the student’s oral expression, remarkably increasing their vocabulary and definitively consolidating those grammatical aspects that are particularly difficult for foreign students (irregular verbs, correct use of the subjunctive mode, prepositions etc.).
Advanced Course
This course is for students with a sufficiently high command of the language. The purpose is to develop the maximum fluency as well as the correct usage of the language on the student’s part. With this aim the students will work with all kinds of current texts related to the Spanish culture and lifestyle, encouraging a critical reading and subsequent commentary.
Additional Learning Activities
Aside from Spanish classes, students will have ample opportunities to learn and appreciate Spanish culture. Depending on the time of year, different fiestas and exciting cultural activities are always taking place. Spanish culture is very rich in fiestas and traditions, some dating back to the Middle Ages. For example, the famous Las Fallas and Magdalena are both celebrated in March, in Valencia and Castellón respectively.
